A Process of Prayer, Spiritual Formation & Religious Education
The OCIA program is for adults interested in learning about and/or becoming members of the Catholic Church. This is a time for inquiry and introduction to the message of the Gospel. It is an opportunity for the beginnings of faith.
OCIA is a community faith journey that leads to a transformation of mind and spirit. Guided by the Gospel, and by the examples set by their Sponsors, Church members and the Faith Community at large, newcomers can find their place in the family of believers.
The classes begin in September 16th and continue through the Easter season. Participants will be brought into the Church during the celebration of the Easter Vigil.
The Process is for:
* The Non-baptized
* Baptized in another denomination
* Baptized Catholic but never received Confirmation and/or Holy Communion
Format: Study, prayer, discussion, questions and sharing
Classes: Tuesday evenings in the Church
If you...
* Are interested in becoming Catholic
* Are interested in returning to full participation in the Church
* Need to complete your sacraments (Confirmation and/or Holy Communion)
* Want to be a church sponsor for a person going through the process
* Know of anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic
Then OCIA is for you - don't hesitate any longer let your Journey begin today!
