"Jesus said to them, go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature."
- Mark 16:15

A Process of Prayer, Spiritual Formation & Religious Education

The RCIA program is for adults interested in learning about and/or becoming members of the Catholic Church. This is a time for inquiry and introduction to the message of the Gospel. It is an opportunity for the beginnings of faith.

RCIA is a community faith journey that leads to a transformation of mind and spirit. Guided by the Gospel, and by the examples set by their Sponsors, Church members and the Faith Community at large, newcomers can find their place in the family of believers.

The classes usually begin in September and continue through the Easter season to May. Participants will be brought into the Church during the celebration of the Easter Vigil during Holy Week.

The Process is for:
* The Non-baptized
* Baptized in another denomination
* Baptized Catholic but never received Confirmation or Holy Communion
* Catholics who have received all their sacraments but want to learn more about their faith

The process that prepares candidates for initiation includes the Sacraments of Baptism (if never received), Confirmation and Holy Eucharist in that order.

Format:  Study, prayer, discussion, questions and sharing

Classes:  Tuesday evenings 6:30pm - 8:30pm in the Church

If you...
* Are interested in becoming Catholic or returning to full participation in the Church
* Want to know more about your Catholic Faith
* Know of anyone so interested
